IT’S GOOD FOR YOU!
Now entering its fourth year, the Traverse City Comedy Fest has hosted hundreds of comedians from across the country and entertained thousands of comedy fans in some of Traverse City’s best venues – generating millions of laughs and making this one of the best comedy festivals in the country!
We pride ourselves on producing shows for everyone and every price point. From headlining performances to up-and-coming improv troupes, from clean to dirty comedy shows, from roast battles to comedy rumbles and even something for murder mystery fans – we’ve got it all!

Submissions for the 2026 Traverse City Comedy Fest will open on December 1, 2025. Stand-Up Comics, Improv Groups and Specialty Shows will be welcome to submit. Submissions will include a headshot, Biography (under 100 words) and video clip (no more than 5 minutes).

CITY OPERA HOUSE
Affectionately known as “The Grand Old Lady,” the City Opera House opened in 1892.
