    Founded in 2000, The Planet Ant Home Team is the the resident improv troupe at Planet Ant Theatre in Hamtramck, Michigan. With 40+ members past and present, they are a staple of the Detroit improv scene and the host of Monday Night Improv, the longest running improv show in Detroit. The list of members, past and present, includes some of the best improvisers in the Detroit area. Alumni include: Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson of I Think You Should Leave and Detroiters and Jaime Moyer of Bob's Burgers and A.P. Bio.

    Good on Paper Improv was established in 2010. They are a six-member troupe that transforms audience suggestions into spontaneous comedy scenes. Their high-energy performances, reminiscent of "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?", have entertained audiences for over a decade. Each show is a unique blend of quick wit and unpredictable humor, ensuring no two performances are alike. They are Traverse City's longest-running improv group who "retired" their regular shows back in July 2025. They can still bring it back as a former cornerstone of the local comedy scene, delivering laughter and creativity with every act.
